Roxanne Ellen Bibizadeh benefits from traversing the boundaries of the east and west, being a mixed race ‘other’, of dual heritage – English, and Iranian.  She is a writer from London who graduated from The University of Warwick with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing in 2006, and a Masters in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths University London in 2008.  Currently, Roxanne is working in education, and researching representations of Islam in modern Middle Eastern literature and British fiction.  She is interested in multiracial relations and experiences in Britain, and has written short stories and a novella on the London underground bombings. At present Roxanne is writing her first novel, which deals with racial diversity in London.  The novel is based on a short story entitled ‘The Bride of Death’.
